Evan Marcus on the Web

I recently noticed that I had small web pages and stuff all over the web, so I figured I'd take a few minutes and throw together a simple web page that would act as a directory to all of it.
The Bill Gates Net Worth Page Back in about 1996, I wanted to create a web page that I would change on its own and be interesting enough for me to visit myself from time to time. I remembered that as a child I had seen a million graphically depicted in a kids' magazine. I decided to see if I could do something similar for much larger numbers, and the largest practical number I could think of was Bill Gates' net worth. And a web site was born. It's gotten me written up in the NY Times and Wall Street Journal, and I appeared on CNBC because of the page.
Blueprints for High Availability (2nd Edition) My most recent book, and the one I am proudest of is the 2nd edition of Blueprints for High Availability. It's available on amazon.com, and many other places. Thank you in advance for buying several copies.
Evan's NFL Pool I've been running an NFL Pool for friends and colleagues for the last couple of years. If you are interested in playing, drop me a note.
Over 3000 songs on my iPod I have over 3000 songs on my iPod, all legally obtained. This is a link to a listing of all the songs. The first couple entries are a little screwed up, but the rest are fine.
My daughter Maddie sings My daughter Maddie has a beautiful singing voice, and a terrific stage presence. On this page, you can see a couple of short mpeg movies of her singing.
Statistics for my softball team I play softball on Sunday mornings during the spring and summer. As you might imagine, I collect way too many statistics about the team, and post them on the web.
An entirely different Evan Marcus Here is an entirely different Evan Marcus. He is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Miami Dolphins football team. The resemblance is uncanny!
